⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The debut novel by Ronnie Turner was an excellent read. I became engrossed immediately and the carefully developed plot was unusual in that there were three different, apparently unrelated, perspectives.
The narrative alternates between Miller, Maisie and John. Miller’s narrative is from a childhood, which is sinister and quite scary. Maisie’s viewpoint is as an ICU nurse who is looking after a patient who may not recover. John has had his daughter kidnapped and him and his wife receive notes and pictures of what the kidnapper is doing to their daughter.
The story line gradually began to intermingle and I became aware of how these characters could potentially know each other. Having said that I didn’t guess all the twists and turns.
‘Lies Between Us’ has a wicked twist.
I would like to thank NetGalley, HQ Digital and Ronnie Turner for my ARC in return for my honest review.
Excellent Read. Highly recommended.
