I have read all of Kathryn Croft’s novels and always enjoy her writing and storylines. This was another huge success as far as I am concerned. Highly enjoyable read. I couldn’t put it down.
Parents, Zoe and Jake, lost their son Ethan in an accidental drowning. He was with a friend Josh who also died that night and Zoe, Jake and their other son, Harley, are still recovering from the trauma. It seems to have driven a wedge between them.
Three years after the event and Zoe starts to receive messages to say that Ethan didn’t die by accident. She begins to investigate, becoming obsessed with what happened and finds there are many twists, turns and events she didn’t know about at the time. Some of them she would rather not know.
Cleverly plotted with an excellent ending.
Many thanks to NetGalley, Bookouture and Kathryn Croft for my ARC in return for an honest review.
Highly enjoyable and strongly recommended.
