⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lucy Clarke is one of my favourite authors and I am gradually catching up with any book of hers that I have missed reading. ‘A Single Breath’ is another brilliantly crafted storyline with a host of interesting characters.
Eva is devastated when her husband, Jackson, is tragically swept away off of rocks on the Dorset coast. She cannot seem to face life so she makes the decision to visit his estranged family in Tasmania. Ending up on a remote Island she meets his brother and begins to try and piece together the life he had with his family.
She realises that the ‘Jackson’ she knew had secrets and the whirlwind romance which led to her marrying him needed more questioning at the time. She doubts she fell in love with him.
I sailed through the pages enjoying the whole scenery. The twists and turns came en masse and the storyline told with the reference from Jackson adds to the drama. Absolutely loved this book.
Excellent read and highly recommended.
