My Darling – Amanda Robson

This is my second read of Amanda Robson and, for me, did not live up to the previous novel, ‘Guilt’, which I found exceptional.

This is the story of two couple who live next door to each other. Tomas and jade move in to a new home and are watched by Alastair and Emma as they move in.  there are several twists and turns as Jade believes Tomas is fond of Emma, who is a dentist. Tomas has problems with his teeth.

It is a bit of a roller coaster ride but I struggled with the format and flitting between narrators, sometimes mid-paragraph.  Having said that it is sinister and clever in many ways.

Thank you to NetGalley, Pan MacMillan, and Amanda Robson for the ARC of ‘My Darling’ in return for my honest review.
